Awards
Entrepreneur of the Palouse Awards
Each year, the Palouse Knowledge Corridor recognizes organizations and individuals that have demonstrated the entrepreneurial spirit in this region. Three cash awards will be given to winners in three categories for people, businesses, and nonprofits that have had an impact on Palouse growth and commerce.
The Business winner must have been located on the Palouse for at least five years. Its establishment or growth will have affected the Palouse region, and a commitment to community engagement is required.
The Rising Star category is open to both businesses and individuals who are new to the Palouse region. They will have had a recent impact on the region, and have a commitment to this area, demonstrated through community activism or volunteering.
The Nonprofit winner must have served the Palouse region for at least five years, and provide an economic impact to the community.
The awards are presented during the Palouse Knowledge Corridor’s Be the Entrepreneur Bootcamp™. Nominations are generally open in February and March.
